Free estimates Owner on the job One number for everything

Punch list Saturday, 9:14 a.m.

  • Back door that will not latch
  • Rotted trim under the porch roof
  • Gutter pulling away from the fascia
  • Basement steps that flex when you walk down
  • Half bath nobody ever finished
  • Kitchen you have been putting off since 2019

Small repairs and full remodels go on the same list. You only have to make one call.

Four things, and they cover almost everything a house needs.

Most people call about one item and end up handing over three. That is fine. It is cheaper for you when one person is already on site with the tools out.

Repairs

The things that break and then sit broken. Doors that stick, drywall holes, leaking fixtures, rotted wood, siding and trim damage, broken steps and railings, storm damage cleanup.

Often asked for: drywall patching, door and lock adjustment, trim replacement, deck board swaps, fascia and soffit repair.

Maintenance

Scheduled work that keeps small problems from turning into structural ones. Gutter cleaning, caulking and sealing, exterior touch ups, seasonal checks, turnover work between tenants, punch lists before a sale.

Good fit for landlords, out of town owners and anyone tired of chasing three different trades.

Remodeling

Kitchens, bathrooms, basements and interior reconfiguration. You get one point of contact from demo through final walkthrough instead of a general contractor who disappears between phases.

Scope, price and schedule go in writing before anything gets torn out. CONFIRM: does he sub out electric, plumbing and HVAC, and to whom

Improvements

Work that adds something rather than fixing something. Built ins and shelving, trim and molding upgrades, flooring, painting, doors and hardware, exterior refresh before a listing.

Tell us the budget first. It is faster to design the job around a number than to price it twice.

Who ends up calling

Homeowners

  • You have a list that keeps growing and no single person to hand it to.
  • The last contractor quoted the job and never came back.
  • The work is too small for a big outfit and too big for a Saturday.
  • You want the same person to see it, price it and do it.

Property owners and landlords

  • Turnovers that have to be done between tenants, not eventually.
  • Repeat maintenance across more than one property.
  • Repair items from an inspection report before settlement.
  • One invoice and one phone number instead of four trades.

How the estimate works

No fee to look, no pressure at the table, and a number you can hold us to.

1

You call or send the list

Photos help. So does a rough sense of your budget and how soon it needs to happen.

2

We look at it in person

Free estimate on site, usually within CONFIRM: realistic response window. You get the price in writing with what is included and what is not.

3

The work gets scheduled

You get a start date and a finish date. If something changes on site you hear about it before it costs you money, not after.

Recent work

Real jobs, real addresses, no stock photography. Four to eight before and after sets carry more weight here than anything written on this page.

You are hiring a person, not a call center

Direct Connect Home Services LLC is run by Serg Stanicky. The person who prices your job is the person responsible for it getting finished, which is the entire reason people keep his number instead of searching again next time.

CONFIRM: years in the trades, where he came up, anything specific about crew size and whether he is on site daily. Two honest sentences here beat a paragraph of filler.

Where we work

Naming the towns matters more than most owners think. It is how you show up when somebody searches for a contractor in their own town rather than a generic one.

CONFIRM: replace with the 8 to 12 towns actually served, closest first Philadelphia Bucks County

Not sure if your address is in range? Call and ask. If it is outside the area, we will say so rather than waste your afternoon.

Questions people ask before they call

How much does a home repair cost?

It depends on the item, but you will know the number before any work starts. Estimates are free and the price is put in writing so there is no conversation about it later.

Do you take small jobs, or only full remodels?

Small jobs are most of the work. A single door, one drywall patch or an afternoon of punch list items is a normal call. Several small items scheduled together will always cost less per item than four separate visits.

Are you licensed and insured?

CONFIRM before publishing: name the exact registration or license held, list the HIC number, and confirm a current certificate of insurance is on file. Pennsylvania requires the HIC number in advertising, and this answer should state it plainly.

How soon can somebody get out to look at it?

Usually within CONFIRM: real timeframe for an estimate. Emergency repairs get moved up when the situation calls for it. Call and describe what is happening and you will get a straight answer about the schedule.

Do you handle electrical, plumbing and HVAC?

CONFIRM: what he does in house versus what he subs out, and to which licensed trades. Being upfront about this builds more trust than claiming everything.

What do you need from me to give an estimate?

The address, a description of the work, photos if you have them, and a rough budget or deadline if one exists. That is usually enough to tell you over the phone whether it is a quick fix or a project.

Send the list. Get a free estimate.

Fill this out and you will get a call back to set up a time. If it is urgent, calling is faster than typing.
